Jiyugaoka (Seoul. Apgujeong Rodeo Street)
Was walking along Apgujeong rodeo's street, which was really quiet for a saturday afternoon, and stumbled upon Jiyugaoka cafe which stood out with its colourful decor and furniture.
Always inspired by chalkboard drawings (:
Loving how they lined the shelves with colourful toys and knick knacks, giving off a slightly swedish feel.
Didn't have a proper look at menu, just selected from the cake display
Malcha (Green tea) shiroi cake 말차 시로이 ₩ 8,800
Green tea sponge cake with marscapone? cream. The cake was pretty tasty, with a good green tea flavour matching nicely with the cream, the only drawback was the price.
Loved how they made the extra effort to use caramel sauce to do plating nicely .
The yellow wheelbarrow matched with the mini orange chair was so cute (:
The "garden/backyard" feel of the outdoor seating with the artificial lawn and metal garden furniture.
Continuing my walk around Apgujeong, I stumbled upon another branch just opposite JYP entertainment, this branch offered pasta and other mains as well.
After some googling, realised that Jiyugaoka is a cafe chain from Japan.
Loved ♥
The bright and cheery furniture.
The cute knick knacks lining the counter and shelves.
The cake and the plating.
